David Fikes St 1 Rehovot
In preparation for the War of Independence, members of the Jewish underground military organization, the Haganah, built a Kibbutz, including a noisy laundry service, to disguise this secret underground factory manufacturing bullets. Over the course of three years, over 2 million 9mm bullets were produced here. Today, the historic factory has become a museum open to the public.
