Built in 1318, this historic structure, set at the center of ancient Ramla, is believed to have served as an observation tower. Researchers also claim it once functioned as a minaret; where the muezzin calls Muslim congregrants to prayer. Today, it has become a symbol of the historic city of Ramla. Feel history come alive as you climb to the top of the tower and enjoy a panoramic view. Afterwards, check out additional nearby historic sites such as Ramla’s Pool of Arches.
