Jerusalem Blvd. 39
In 1937, this place served as the Alhambra Cinema and was considered the most advanced cinema in the Middle East. Later it became the home theater of the well-known producer Giora Godik, becoming the Israeli "Broadway." In 1973 the building was purchased by a real estate company and bank, and in the 90's housed a branch of the bank. It lay derelict until 2005, when it was purchased by the Church of Scientology and became its Israeli headquarters. The place then underwent thorough preservation works, including reconstruction of the original ceiling of the theater and the opening of a permanent exhibition on the building's history.
